Artwork for roll-up and display stands

The visible print area is not always the full artwork size. The stand model determines the fitting zones, so we confirm the hardware before preparing the design.

Four-step artwork preparation

  1. 1

    Identify the exact model

Send the stand model and size. For a replacement print, photograph the cassette, top profile and any label. Do not assume every 85 × 200 cm stand uses the same file.

  2. 2

    Confirm the visible area

Part of the bottom may remain inside the cassette, while other areas are held by a profile or eyelets. The exact allowance and fitting size are confirmed for the selected model.

  3. 3

    Position the content

Keep logos, text and contact details within the visible area and away from fittings. Extend the background to the full file size without white edges.

  4. 4

    Save for checking

Use PDF at finished size or a stated exact scale. Convert text to outlines, embed images and remove unnecessary layers and transparencies.

What we check before printing

ElementPractical check
Size and proportion The file matches the print and confirmed fitting dimensions
Bottom zone No important text or logo sits inside the cassette fitting area
Top profile The main message is clear of the profile
Resolution Checked at full size, around 150 dpi is a useful starting point
Text Readable from the expected distance, without small detailed blocks

General colour, font and format requirements are in the artwork guide. Models and sizes are listed under roll-up and display stands.

Example: replacing only the print

You have a stand from a previous campaign and need new graphics. Send a photograph of the complete hardware, cassette and top profile, together with the old print dimensions. We use these to check whether a compatible replacement can be produced.

If the design contains only the visible height and omits the roll-in or fitting area, the file may be too short. This cannot be corrected after printing without losing content, so the check happens before production.

Common questions

How much allowance should I leave at the bottom?

There is no universal value for all models. First tell us the model and visible size, then we will confirm the required fitting area.

Can I use a phone photograph?

It depends on its actual resolution at the print size. Send the original file without messaging-app compression and we will check it.

Got a print project?

Send us the sizes, material and your files. We reply with a quote and a production time.
