Perforated window film

Perforated film turns a shop window or glazing into advertising space without blocking daylight or the view out. It suits shops, offices, buildings, buses and vehicle rear windows.

How it works

Perforated film for shop windows and glazing

Perforated window film is a perforated PVC vinyl with a white face and a black back. We print the image on the white side, so it is visible from outside. The black back absorbs light, so from inside the eye looks through the holes and the view out is kept.

The effect works best in daylight, when it is brighter outside than inside. In the evening, with the lights on indoors, people outside may be able to see in.

Perforated film is for short to medium-term advertising. To keep moisture and dirt out of the holes and protect the print from UV light and scratches, we recommend a clear laminate.

Shop windows

Full or partial window graphics that do not darken the sales floor.

Advertising on the windows of cars, vans and buses that passengers can still see out through.

Perforated film FAQ

Can you see out through perforated film?

Yes. From inside you can see out, especially in daylight. The larger the perforated area, the better the visibility.

Is it suitable for small text?

The holes break up fine detail, so small text is hard to read. For perforated film, choose bold images, logos and short headlines.

What file should I prepare?

An image at actual size with a resolution of around 150 dpi, in JPEG, TIFF, PSD, CDR, EPS or PDF. If the glazing is split into panes, send us the size of each one. More in our file requirements.

Can you apply it to our window?

Yes, we install perforated film on site. The standard lead time for printing is up to 3 working days and the minimum order is 1 m². See also services.
